About the Cases For Magic created by Johnny Ould...
You may need something better, like the professional roll-on or a suitcase table, to carry your show in, once you have an organized show that is, and possibly have already been this route and found it convenient… BUT heavy to carry!

Necessity being the mother of invention, caused this ‘Ould’ wizard to rethink his show needs many times over the years and create some very unusual self-contained cases, some with built-in stands. All had to be fast set up, lightweight and able to contain all props necessary to perform that particular show.

I felt that it was important for clients to see, that when I arrived, the show was ready to go without the need for any setting up time, no inconveniences, and no pack up time. This provided an ideal “Get in, Get at It and Get out” situation which allowed clients to run a smooth flowing program, whether it be our bread and butter Birthday Parties or the larger Family, School or Church functions that we entertain.

We use the same concept for larger shows as well, and explain, as we do with all shows, that we are ready to perform on arrival as there is no set up or pack up time required which makes it very convenient for them. This is not accidental. It is a pre planned format that may exclude us from some possible bookings, but it does allow for us to book several consecutive shows in a row with very little resetting. The show routines we use are chosen with that in mind to keep our sanity.

Important facts about all of our magic show routines.

ALL magic tricks, props and routines we use in our shows are chosen with these facts in mind:

  • Must slip easily into and out of the custom show container.
  • Must be lightweight.
  • Must be visible for the size of audience.
  • Must have little or no reset time.
  • Must ideally pack small and play big!
  • The complete show is self-contained to set and pack up in seconds.
  • The Show Container itself must instill audience curiosity.
